Introduce the BU’s Carnival U Class

My name is Amelie and I'm from Belgium. I am doing a master in events management and that's a reason why I chose to join Carnival U team!
Carnival is a very famous event and be part of it will permit me to view the Carnival in another angle and expand my knowledge about it. It is also a way for me to work with students from different background and meet different culture through the Carnival.

Amelie

I am Cindy, from Taiwan and now study the Masters in Event Management at Bournemouth University. I love to experience a different culture and challenges of the unknown. It is an honour to be a part of CarnivalU because I always want to join a carnival, the carnival costumes, interesting Caribbean’s food, fantastic Parade and especially the spirit of freedom, all of them are fascinating. Follow us and explore the beauty of Caribbean's carnival culture.

Desi

Hi, my name is Desi, I'm from Bulgaria and I study Events Management at "Bournemouth University".
My main reason to get involved with the project is because of my interest in Latin American and Caribbean cultures and the way they have used Carnivals and festivals to provide an understanding of their history, art and the cultural importance of such events over the years

Diane

Hi, my name is Diane Nthurima from Kenya. Back home, I’m entrepreneur in fashion/marketing consultancy and in events & travel/lifestyle blogger and blogger. In the U.K, I’m a masters student in events management.
My motivation behind joining the Carnival U team was definately to get more exposure and experience with doing events in a country different to me. Despite my background in event management, I felt like additional experience is always good as it’s the best way to grow and learn more.
Additionally, I have always had interest in Carnival things and this was the best time to put my interest into use. Carnival U is s great way to learn more about carribbean culture by enabling us to be part of the experience through planning our own carnival experience for other students.
I am really excited to do be part of the team and to see what we make of this great experience.

Hello everyone, my name is Thu Pham from Vietnam. I am studying MSc Events Management at Bournemouth University.
